Sustainability

Our Farming Practices

We use water-efficient irrigation systems and low impact cultivation techniques to reduce waste and preserve the health of our soil. Our goal is to cultivate crops in harmony with nature, minimising environmental impact while maximising yield  and quality.

Empowering local communities

We are committed to creating jobs and sustainable livelihoods for Gambian farmers and labourers. From training and fair wages to safe working condition, we ensure that everyone involved in our supply chain benefits from our growth.

Purpose Before Profit

Our operations are grounded in a deep sense of spiritual and ethical purpose. This is more than a company - it's a mission. We have blessed our land with prayer and built our foundation on service, integrity and respect. Every harvest is a step toward economic empowerment and national pride.

Introducing Sub-13

As part of our commitment to give back, profits from Lion Import Trading will help launch 'Sub-13' meaning "Everything is yours" - a foodbank initiative aimed at tackling hunger and supporting vulnerable families in The Gambia. The project also looks to deliver clean and safe water solutions for rural communities. Named with heart and intention, Sub-13 will ensure that the fruits of our work nourish not only markets, but mouths in need
